I can't decided which one of the two I prefer. Yesterday's post had him flaring, but this one has the catch light in his eye. I would have caught both if he didn't run right after I made this exposure!
These guys were everywhere. Kind of like how squirrels run rampant out here.
As seen from our balcony.
They were everywhere in Cuba! Creepy, but cool at the same time
For some reason, when photographing a church, I love to stand right in front and look up.
Do you know how difficult it is to photograph your footprints in the sand when the water keeps washing them away!?!
You know...I asked for a seat NEAR the wing, not ON the wing! And when we made that detour into SPACE...man it was cold!
I love reflections. There's something about that minor distortion that only water can provide. Oh, and ya...that's me at the top.
I went with the intention of NOT shooting your standard "post card" images, but the everywhere you looked was a POST CARD! So, instead of fighting it, I just went with it.
This was the view last night in Cuba. It was so sad to leave. We had an amazing time. If you ever get the chance, I highly recommend Breezes Jibacoa. The people there were amazing, the food was awesome, and everything about the resort was top notch.
I managed to squeeze one more photo onto the blog before I leave for Cuba tomorrow! This is Darth Brownie, the miniature evil overlord of the backyard.
See you in a week!
Even Brownie Brownerton loves the taste of No Name's Classic Roasted Peanuts! Ya, we had to switch to no name because she eats and stores dozens of them a day!
By the way, this may be my last post until August 20th. My wife and I are heading to Cuba for a week, so expect some island shots when I return!
What an evil grin she has. It's like she knows her cuteness will get her free peanuts, and she's thinking, "Sucka!".
So, Brownie has become so comfortable with us that she lets us pet her now. I never knew chipmunks could be so soft.
We went down to the Taste of the Danforth festival in Toronto today. The Danforth tastes pretty good, I have to admit.
A Golden Eagle with awesome yellow eyes.
I'm not a huge fan of spiders, but this was just a cool scene.
Bojan, my brother-in-law, and I ran down to his father's boat to cover it up from the storm that suddenly came upon us. As we ran onto the dock, I yelled, "Hang on! I need to make this picture!", much to Bojan's soaked dismay.
I was hanging out with Brownie again today. I'm starting to feel like an exclusively chipmunk photographer, but I just love hanging out with them!
I like the green jacket he was wearing.
While hanging out with Brownie a little while back, I noticed all the water on the giant Elephant Ear plant my Mom has in her backyard. I decided to do some photographic exploration.
