After running on barely any sleep yesterday, I managed to capture this super-cloudy scene before I hit the sack.
He was hanging out with his buddies in my Mom's backyard yesterday.
The scene a few minutes ago, facing North-East.
Brownie, with a peace offering. I was over at my Mom's place yesterday, and Brownie came out of her hole, but she stayed away. She just sat on a log and stared at me, kind of the way my students do when I'm teaching them something they're not interested in.
A perfect fall image, made in the heart of summer.
A fall afternoon 3 years ago, that is.
This image was made back in October of 2005 with an old 4 MP sony point and shoot that I had. Still love it.
On the streets of St. Jacobs, Ontario, last October.
You and me Sunday driving, not arriving,
on our way back home.
Before I knew Lola Atkins, there was Lola McDonough. She's a pug/chihuahua mix, wearing Marina's sunglasses.
Again, I know they're cliche, but I just can't pass up a good sunset!
I wanted to photograph the apple because of the contrast between it and the dark brown wood it was resting on. I didn't realize until getting up close that I was snapping a slice of ant life!
Two horses acting goofy on a farm in Caledon, ON.
I made quite a few images of this plant earlier this summer. This happens to be number 4.
Strange clouds over my home town.
To me, this photo feels like "Wheat Kings" by the Hip. She's the pretty thing. Does that make me the king? Check it out
The bokeh makes it look like her nose has popped off her face!
While Lola was resting, I was photographing.
The ever vicious Lola, tugging on a rope that is tied to a tree branch. This is one battle she can't win.
Well, the last of the Cuban photos. The last remnants of the summer of 2010. Tomorrow...back to school!
Guess who I was with today!?! Lola + Me = Good Day!
Awe...only one more Cuban photo to go! I love reflections. Can you tell?
We got a slight touch of hurricane Earl this afternoon, with some crazy wind and rain. Nothing too major.
These guys were awesome! They put on a show on the beach while we were in Cuba.
The third, and final, lizard image. I love the linear setup of this image, and yes he was holding on to the post vertically.
