Our view from the Queen Elizabeth Hotel.
Another image from the blackout.
With the blackout in effect, Marina lit candles while I photographed them.
This was the view from my balcony last night as the neighbourhood found itself in complete darkness for just over an hour. You can't really tell from this image, but it was pitch black outside. The long exposure helped bring out some of the colours and details.
I've wanted to photograph snowflakes for a while. I finally got around to it!
These were the columns of the church beside the Queen Elizabeth hotel in Montreal.
It was sitting on the table, all inspiring and stuff.
A great basilica in old Montreal, the sibling to it's namesake in Paris.
Reflection shots are great, don't you think?
It's as if the old building was melting into the new one. Really cool.
An "urban landscape" image, where the trees are replaced with buildings.
The last black and white image from that foggy day in October.
After leaving Notre Dame, my wife and I walked around Chinatown a bit before heading back to the Queen Elizabeth.
I bet they were saying, "What chew lookin' at!?!"
Wow, so it's now 2011, and I still have a few of those fog images from October to post! I hope everyone had a great new year's eve and day!
