I think this was the last image I made on that foggy night a few days ago.
What a crazy, foggy evening we had last night! I got home at 9 p.m., grabbed the camera, and went for a walk around the lake. I came home with some pretty interesting images.
Yes, it's Easter, but we keep our Christmas lights up all year round on the balcony's rail. It gives us great twinkle lighting in the summer!
This image was made exactly one year ago today, April 16th, 2010. Too bad this April 16th is cold and rainy.
Just a sign I came across on my travels.
It's strange...squirrels are bigger than chipmunks, but chipmunks are much braver. My old chipmunk buds Penelope and Brownie used to hang out with me (and in Brownie's case, she would even let me pet her), while these guys will scurry off no matter how well they get to know you.
I love the contrast between the animals and the field.
On a day like this, with crazy winds outside and a fever inside, I miss quiet, healthy days like this.
With profound hope that the snow is gone for the season, I'll post the last few remnants of winter 2010.
It's been almost a year since I first met Penelope, then her backyard mate Brownie (pictured here). I still have a bunch of Brownie's photos that have yet to be posted. Here's one.
