Coffee Time

A Somber Lola

One of her few relaxed moments. She came over for a visit yesterday and spent the night with Marina and I. The great thing about photographing animals is that you don't need any skill to make a good shot...they're just so cute!

Sleeping Lola

My brother-in-law and his girlfriend just got a puppy last week. Her name is Lola. She was a show girl. This is her passed out.

Fire!

Fire, No. 1 *This photo was taken by me from my in-laws balcony.

Fire, No. 2 *This photo was taken by Marina from our balcony.

A house caught on fire yesterday across the street from our condo. Marina and I were eating dinner at her parents place when her mom spotted some smoke from the roof across the street. I called 9-1-1 and within minutes there were a few dozen firefighters and police at the scene. Here's what the Mississauga News had to say.

Self Portrait In A Melting Marsh

Another Voigtlander shot made back in March. Actually, this is the same spot where I made my cover photo for my book, "The Escarpment" back in 2006.

Baby Raccoons

A few days ago Damien & my mom discovered 3 baby raccoons living in their backyard shed. Over the next couple of days, they found more...six in total. After calling animal experts, they were told that raccoon moms are very good parents, and since there is no trace of the mom it's pretty safe to say that something has happened to her. Today, Damien is bringing them to a raccoon rescue place where they will be taken care of.
