This is a tribute to Buddy, who sadly passed away yesterday. He lived to the ripe old age of 17, and would often play with Lola even in his advanced years. He will be missed.

West Credit

On my drive up north the other day, I came very close to the head waters of the Credit River, the main river that runs through my home city of Mississauga. One day I'll find where it starts. I was so close!

Penelope In National Geographic!

What a morning I had yesterday! I received an email from a photo agency in the UK. They want the high-res versions of my Penelope shots to send out to newspapers and magazines around the world! They said that they saw the image published on National Geographic.com. Then I thought...what!?! And sure enough, Penelope's face was there! Great morning.

A New Horse Friend

With my fever having subsided, and after spending 2 days in bed, I needed to get out yesterday. I decided to head out to Caledon, and I began by visiting the Grange Equestrian Village (one of my favourite places in the world!). To my surprise, Payday Pleasure and her friends were gone! In their place were three new horses, with no name tags. They seemed friendly enough, and two of them came over to say, "hi".

I made this image while on a trip to Quebec City in May of 2006. This particular waterfall was on Mount St. Anne. What an amazing place!

It's Too Big

Another image of Penelope, the chipmunk, trying to down a peanut. If each peanut were the equivalent to...say...a big mac for humans, she would have eaten at least 40 that day.

Macro Penelope

So, before & after Easter lunch at my Mom's place, I photographed and recorded the wildlife in her backyard...in macro. This is Penelope, the chipmunk. She's friends with Peanut, the other chipmunk.
